Sermorelin (also known as GHRH 1-29) is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of endogenous Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It was FDA-approved for pediatric GH deficiency in the 1990s before being discontinued for commercial reasons, and it has since become one of the most-used anti-aging peptides.
Unlike synthetic growth hormone (HGH), Sermorelin works by stimulating the pituitary gland to produce and release its own GH. This means it operates within your body's natural feedback loops, which may reduce the risk of negative feedback suppression associated with exogenous HGH use.
